Our 2014 dissertation prize has been awarded to Sam Nariani (University of Nottingham) for his dissertation ‘In defence of the community their world had got bigger: Women’s Activism in Barnsley’s Communities during the 1984-5 Miners’ Strike’. Many congratulations Sam.

A prize of £75 is offered for the best undergraduate dissertation in political geography submitted to a UK university during the 2012–13 academic year. PolGRG Workshop: April 23-24, University of Exeter

The PolGRG will be holding its third annual workshop on April 23rd and 24th 2012 at the University of Exeter.
